Türkiye fails to make chances pay as Netherlands advances to Euro 2024 semifinals

In the Euro 2024 quarterfinal match, the Turkish national football team was defeated 2-1 by the Netherlands, resulting in their exit from the tournament at the quarterfinal stage.
First Half: Türkiye took the lead in the 35th minute with a goal from Samet Akaydin, finishing the first half with a 1-0 advantage.
Second Half: The Netherlands made a comeback in the second half with a goal from De Vrij in the 70th minute, followed by an own goal from Mert Muldur in the 76th minute, securing a 2-1 victory.
Despite starting strong, Türkiye was unable to maintain its lead and was eliminated from the tournament. The Netherlands will advance to face England in the semi-finals on July 10.
