Türkiye-Netherlands Euro 2024 quarter-final spurs 550% Berlin flight surge

Enuygun, an online travel company in Türkiye, has reported a significant surge in flight ticket sales to Berlin for the 2024 European Football Championship quarter-final match between Türkiye and the Netherlands.
In a statement, Enuygun noted that the match, scheduled for tomorrow at the Berlin Olympic Stadium, has sparked immense interest among Turkish fans.
550% surge for Berlin flight tickets
According to Enuygun’s data, flight ticket sales for Berlin on July 3rd saw a remarkable increase of 550% compared to the previous day. Additionally, there was a 200% rise in flight ticket searches on July 4th.
Orkun Ozkan, Enuygun’s Commercial Director, emphasized the significance of this match for Türkiye, marking the national team’s first appearance in the quarter-finals since 2008. He stated, “With additional flights scheduled for July 6-7, we anticipate a continued rise in flight ticket searches and bookings from fans eager to be part of this excitement. I extend my best wishes to the national team for success in the upcoming match.”
