Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said Friday that Turkish authorities have captured 45 suspects linked to the Daesh terrorist group during the Bozdogan-48 operations conducted in 16 provinces.

In a statement made on his social media account, Minister Yerlikaya emphasized that they will not allow any terrorist to be detained and that their only goal is to fight without stopping until the last terrorist is eliminated.

Yerlikaya stated that under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security and the counterterrorism department, provincial police directorates conducted operations against Daesh in Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Duzce, Istanbul, Izmir, Kahramanmaras, Kayseri, Kirsehir, Kilis, Kocaeli, Konya, Kutahya, Manisa, Sakarya and Sanlıurfa.

Stating that 45 suspects were arrested in the operations, Yerlikaya noted that a large amount of foreign currency, Turkish lira and many digital materials were seized.
