Bentley unveils Istanbul-inspired exclusive collection
Bentley, the globally renowned luxury automobile manufacturer, has introduced an exclusive collection series that can only be ordered from its Istanbul showroom. This limited collection, comprising just three models, features the iconic Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga, all equipped with V8 engines.
The vehicles, meticulously handcrafted at Bentley’s factory in Crewe, England, also saw the involvement of the brand’s Istanbul employees in the development phase. Named the “Bentley Mulliner Istanbul Silhouette Collection,” this special limited series draws attention to Istanbul’s rich cultural heritage, world-famous landmarks, and artistic significance.
The cars, crafted by master artisans who now only work on special order lines, prominently feature the silhouette of the Bosphorus Strait as a central theme. The turquoise hue of the sea, mirroring the blue sky reflected on the water during sunset, is among the details inspiring this unique series.
The Istanbul Silhouette theme is evident in both the exterior and interior designs of the vehicles. The first noticeable feature is the sapphire black front door sills. These sills form a harmonious base for the exterior design, while the side skirts made of carbon fiber are painted in a special turquoise blue, adding a sporty touch reminiscent of Istanbul’s colors.
Inside, silhouettes of the Maiden’s Tower, Galata Tower, and the famous bridges over the Bosphorus are incorporated. The turquoise blue color appears on the headrests and rear cushions, with all these details inspired by the blue-patterned tiles of the famous Sultanahmet Mosque, combined with navy blue and black leather.
In promoting this special series, Bentley emphasizes Istanbul as the meeting point of East and West. The brand highlights the vibrant street scenes enriched by history and art, presenting Istanbul as a unique location where European and Asian cultures blend seamlessly. The Bentley Mulliner Istanbul Silhouette Collection, produced with this central idea, will be on display at the showroom for a limited time before being delivered to their owners.
The promotional shoots for the vehicles took place at Istanbul’s Galataport, and the cars are being showcased at the Dogus Otomotiv Center in Maslak. Represented in Türkiye by Dogus Holding, Bentley also has a pop-up store at Karakoy Galaport.
