The name ‘Khorasan’ originates from an ancient region spanning Iran, Turkmenistan, and parts of Afghanistan.
Most recent attacks include an attack on the Santa Maria Church in Istanbul on Jan. 28, this year, and the attack on a concert hall in Moscow.
