Turkish forces eliminate PKK/KCK-HPG’s high-ranking member Sedat Aksu in Iraq, revealing his role in orchestrating attacks against Turkish security forces and providing ammunition to militants

Terrorist organization PKK’s so-called Council leader Sedat Aksu codenamed Sevger Ciya, was eliminated by an operation conducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) in Iraq.

Due to his position, the organization concealed Sedat Aksu’s elimination for a long time. However, later, PKK was forced to admit his death.

MIT determined that Sedat Aksu personally gave instructions for the actions planned against Turkish security forces in northern Syria in 2016.

Additionally, it was learned that Aksu operated as the so-called General Ammunition Responsible for PKK in Iraq’s Gara province. In response, MIT assigned field agents specifically, and Aksu was tracked step by step.

Field agents found that Aksu, with instructions from the organization’s top management, provided weapons and ammunition to the organization members preparing for actions in the Claw-Lock operation zone.

Sedat Aksu, codenamed Sevger Ciya joined the organization’s rural cadre in 1998. He participated in attacks against security forces in Sirnak and its surroundings in 2000.
