Iran sentences PKK terrorist to death
The Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld the death sentence of Ethem Ozdemir, a member of the terrorist organization PKK.
It was announced that the Supreme Court approved the death sentence given by the Iranian judiciary to Ozdemir.
Ozdemir, code-named Reges, was captured by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards army in the Qeleniye district of Maku Ccty of Iran on June 23, 2019.
He was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court in the city of Hoy on March 15, 2022. It was reported that the death sentence of terrorist Ozdemir, who is in prison in Urmia, was approved by the higher court.
It was reported that Ozdemir was born in 1997 in Agri and joined the terrorist organization in 2014.
