The Areda Survey research firm surveys 3,764 individuals across Türkiye, revealing the Turkish public’s confidence in the defense industry

A survey conducted by Areda Survey research firm with over 3,500 individuals across Türkiye revealed the surge in the Turkish public’s confidence in the country’s defense industry.

The survey results indicate that 62.2% of the population exhibited an increase in confidence in response to the recent developments in the defense industry. Türkiye’s recent efforts to boost local production and technology in the defense industry appear to have played a significant role in the surge in numbers.

While 23.7% of the participants stated they felt no change, 14.1% expressed decreased confidence.

The study used the CAWI technique with the “Areda Survey’s Profile-Based Digital Panel” following the survey, which was conducted between April 5 and April 8, 2024.

One important indicator for Türkiye’s future strategic steps and national security is confidence in the defense industry.
