UK Ambassador Jill Morris and a group from the Royal College of Defence Studies visited the Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center to observe recent military advancements in Türkiye

Jill Morris, the UK Ambassador to Ankara, and a group from the Royal College of Defence Studies visited the Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center to observe recent advancements in Türkiye’s military industry.

A message on Baykar Technologies’ official LinkedIn account acknowledged the visit, expressing delight in hosting Ambassador Morris and the Royal College of Defence Studies group.

In her previous statements, Ambassador Morris stressed the UK’s careful monitoring of Türkiye’s domestically made KAAN aircraft and reaffirmed support for Ankara’s bid to buy Eurofighter Typhoon fighter planes.

Morrish had emphasized Türkiye and the UK’s strong military relations and pledged to enhance collaboration even further. She emphasized the need to closely watch advances in Türkiye’s military capabilities, such as the 5th Generation Fighter KAAN, ALTAY tanks, and TCG ANADOLU ship, emphasizing the reciprocal advantages for both nations.
