Missiles strike Tel Aviv amid escalating tensions
The Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, in response to Gaza Strip hostilities, launched rockets at Israel’s capital, Tel Aviv
In response to the ongoing hostilities in the Gaza Strip, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, known as the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, announced that they targeted Israel’s capital, Tel Aviv, with rockets.
The announcement was made through the Qassam Brigades’ Telegram account, stating, “In reaction to the Israeli occupation’s massacres against civilians, we targeted Tel Aviv with rockets.”
Meanwhile, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that sirens blared in the central region of the Greater Tel Aviv area, and at least 12 rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip towards the Greater Tel Aviv area.
The report mentioned attempts by the Iron Dome air defense system to intercept the rockets, resulting in audible explosions.
