Turkiye retaliates against PKK: Intelligence Agency annihilates 23 strategic targets in Syria
In a swift and successful retaliatory move against PKK forces in Syria, the Turkish National Intelligence Organization effectively annihilates 23 strategic targets, including military installations, intelligence facilities, and key personnel, demonstrating a resolute commitment to regional security.
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has taken decisive action in response to the recent attack by the PKK on Turkish security forces in Iraq. Following this incident, MIT conducted operations on Sunday in Syria to eliminate PKK targets.
In these operations, MIT targeted strategic objectives affiliated with the PKK/YPG in Syria, including military, intelligence, energy/infrastructure facilities, ammunition points, and other critical points. The operations also focused on individuals operating at a responsible level within the terrorist organization.
MIT successfully destroyed a total of 23 targets associated with the terrorist organization in Syria. These included 5 crucial infrastructure facilities, 3 control points, 8 military points, 2 ammunition depots, 2 logistics depots, 2 technical vehicle depots, and 1 tunnel/fortification used in deployment efforts.
According to security sources, the operations will continue until the planned objectives are achieved. MIT’s resolute actions underscore the commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the region in the face of terrorist threats.
