Türkiye’s Izmir Boat Show to attract 40,000 visitors, showcase over 350 vessels

One of Türkiye’s most prestigious maritime events, the MAST Izmir Boat Show—showcasing boats, marine equipment, and accessories—is set to return for its third edition, bringing together the global maritime industry.
The event will take place from April 23 to 27, 2025, at Fuar Izmir, where over 350 boats will be exhibited and more than 40,000 visitors are expected, ranging from industry professionals to sailing enthusiasts.
The show will feature the latest innovations from domestic and international manufacturers, including motorized and non-motorized vessels, as well as marine accessories. The large-scale event is designed to promote business collaboration and create new export opportunities within the sector.
Organized by ED Fair and Izfas, the MAST Izmir Boat Show will host visitors and investors from across Türkiye and abroad. The exhibition will bring together world-renowned boat brands, leading local manufacturers, and marine accessory firms, turning Izmir into a hub for the global maritime industry.

Last year, the event welcomed attendees from 33 Turkish cities and 65 countries, including Germany, Hungary, Russia, and Gulf nations. Even greater international interest is expected this year, with boats ranging from 3 to 15 meters will be showcased, with prices starting from ₺100,000 ($2,630) and reaching up to ₺10 million, offering options to suit every budget and taste.
‘70% of yachts at Izmir Boat Show are locally manufactured’
Dilek Soydan, co-founder of ED Fair, emphasized Türkiye’s rapid growth in boat and yacht manufacturing in recent years. “Many of our firms now produce at world-class standards, both technically and aesthetically. MAST Izmir Boat Show has become one of the key platforms that connects this success with the right audience. While 30% of the boats exhibited are foreign-made, the share of locally manufactured boats has reached 70% this year,” she said.
Soydan added that visitors will be both surprised and proud of the vessels on display. “Turkish producers are now exporting not only to the domestic market but also to international markets, particularly in Europe. Thanks to their design quality, material technology, and manufacturing capabilities, our sector has gained a significant competitive advantage on a global scale,” she said. “This year’s edition stands out not only for its scale but also for the diversity of participating firms and innovations on display,” she noted.
Emel Yilmaz, co-founder of ED Fair, said that companies from various regions of Türkiye and abroad will showcase their newest products and solutions to industry stakeholders at this year’s event. “More than 350 boats, yachts, and marine vehicles will be presented this year—a 20% increase compared to last year,” she said, adding that they expect nearly twice the number of visitors, reaching around 40,000.
“The growing number of boats on display reflects both the scale and diversity of Türkiye’s boat and yacht manufacturing industry. We anticipate strong interest from both domestic and international attendees—not just industry professionals but also sailing enthusiasts and investors. We see this platform not only as an exhibition space but also as a dynamic ecosystem where new business partnerships, export connections, and sectoral knowledge exchanges can take place,” Yilmaz concluded.
