Besiktas is stepping up its transfer efforts for the upcoming season and has set its sights on Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey, whose contract with Premier League club Arsenal will expire at the end of this season.

The Turkish side is ready to offer Partey a lucrative salary to bring him to Istanbul.

With the goal of securing the Super Lig championship next season, Besiktas is focusing on signing players without paying transfer fees.

According to Turkish media, the club has made its move for Partey, who will become a free agent when his Arsenal contract ends this summer.

The 31-year-old midfielder’s availability makes him an attractive target for Besiktas, and the club is preparing to take action.

The coaching staff is specifically seeking a strong, experienced midfielder to partner with Gedson Fernandes in the center of the pitch. Partey’s free-agent status makes this transfer even more appealing.

Besiktas faces competition in its pursuit of Partey, as clubs from Spain’s La Liga are also reportedly interested in signing him. To secure the player’s signature, Besiktas is planning to offer him a high-paying contract.
