Istanbul Governorate announces road closures for March 21-22

The Istanbul Governorate has announced further road closures for March 21-22, as part of ongoing traffic measures. These closures follow the initial restrictions set for March 19-23, affecting metro lines and various roads throughout the city.
In a statement, the Governorate added, “In addition to the measures announced on March 19, it has been decided to close certain roads to traffic. In line with the new decision, the following roads will be closed from 2 p.m. on March 21 until 2 p.m. on March 22, along with alternative routes.”

- Macar Kardesler Street and all streets leading to it
- 15 Temmuz Sehitler Street and all streets leading to it
- Sehzadebasi Street and all streets leading to it
- Vezneciler Street and all streets leading to it
- Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasa Street and all streets leading to it
- Ataturk Boulevard and all streets leading to it
- Sahil Kennedy Street (between Samatya and Sirkeci) and all streets leading to it
- Resadiye Street and all streets leading to it
- Ragip Gumuspala Street and all streets leading to it
- Galata Bridge and all streets leading to it
- Ataturk Bridge and all streets leading to it

- Namik Kemal Street
- Sahil Kennedy Street
- E-5 D100 Highway
