AK Party officials slam Israeli attacks on Gaza, call for accountability

Türkiye’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) spokesperson and Deputy Chairman Omer Celik strongly condemned Israel’s recent airstrikes on Gaza, calling for those responsible to be prosecuted and punished for what he described as “massacres.”
His remarks follow Israel’s violation of a cease-fire agreement and continued attacks on Gaza that have resulted in numerous civilian casualties.
Israel’s actions violate humanity, says AK Party Spox
In a statement shared on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Celik condemned the Israeli government’s actions, labeling them as part of an ongoing “genocide policy” under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership.
“If there is to be any value and order for humanity in this world, the first condition must be the prosecution and punishment of this massacre network,” Celik stated.
He further emphasized the inhuman nature of the Netanyahu government’s actions, pointing out that Israel had once again killed innocent Palestinians. “This massacre network is hostile to all human values and has shown that it will never adhere to any agreement,” Celik said.

AK Party Vice Chairman Ala also voices strong condemnation
In a separate statement, AK Party Vice Chairman Efkan Ala also condemned the Israeli airstrikes on a social media post X, calling them part of a broader “inhumane violence policy” being pursued by Netanyahu’s government.
“The Netanyahu government is recklessly continuing its inhumane violence policies, undermining global peace and justice in front of the world’s eyes. These attacks are crimes not only against the Palestinian people but also against all of humanity,” Ala stated.
Ala also highlighted the timing of the attacks, pointing out that Israel had violated the cease-fire during the holy month of Ramadan, disregarding both humanitarian and moral values. “These despicable attacks are among the bloodiest examples of a state-sponsored genocide policy,” he said.
By violating the ceasefire this morning, Israel disregarded the sanctity of the month of Ramadan and all human and moral values, and targeted innocent civilians in Gaza, including children, young and old.
These vile attacks are one of the bloodiest examples of genocide that has become a state policy. The Netanyahu government is undermining global peace and justice before the eyes of the entire world by recklessly pursuing its inhumane policies of violence.
These attacks are crimes committed not only against the Palestinian people, but against all of humanity with a conscience. To remain silent against Israel’s cruelty is to be complicit in this savagery!
As Türkiye, we will continue to support the just cause of the Palestinian people to the end, to stand by the oppressed, and to be the voice of justice and humanity.
