Cyprus Talks: Turkish Cypriot President Ersin Tatar’s remarks after informal Geneva meeting

Following an informal dinner hosted by United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Geneva, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar addressed the press.
President Tatar noted that the dinner was conducted in a positive environment, emphasizing the importance of developing a culture of cooperation between both sides. He highlighted that improving collaboration is essential for moving forward with the Cyprus issue.
Focusing on the need to enhance cooperation between the two sides, President Tatar mentioned that discussions would continue the following day. He pointed out that more effort needs to be put into addressing the challenges surrounding the Cyprus matter.
