Fenerbahce among world’s top 25 ─how did other Turkish football clubs rank?

Fenerbahce ranked highest among Turkish clubs in the latest global ranking of the best football teams, securing 23rd place, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) reported.

According to the IFFHS, 13 Turkish football clubs were included in the top 501 rankings for the period between Mar. 1, 2024, and Feb. 28, 2025. Fenerbahce’s archrival Galatasaray dropped to 46th from 41st, while Besiktas fell to 96th from its previous ranking of 81st.

Meanwhile, Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid topped the list, followed by Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen in second place and Italy’s Atalanta in third.
