Palestinians were released in this cold weather with no clothes on, only diapers, says U.N. Human Rights Officer

The United Nations interviewed Palestinian detainees who were detained by Israeli security forces in the Gaza Strip and were held in unknown locations for 30 to 55 days.

Israeli forces subjected the Palestinians to immense physical abuse, as per reports.

“Palestinians were released in this cold weather with no clothes on, only diapers,” said U.N. Human Rights Officer Ajith Sunghay, adding that it was not known why the Palestinians were made to wear diapers, U.N. Human Rights Officer Ajith Sunghay noted.

“They were visibly shaken,” Sunghay added.

Several videos shared by the Israeli army since the start of the war have shown hundreds of Palestinian men being stripped down to their underwear, sitting outside in the cold and sometimes blindfolded.

It was noteworthy that Israel applied the same strategy to the Palestinians that Hitler applied to the Jews in World War II.
