Inside the graves near the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, more than 107 skeletons were discovered, accompanied by an assortment of items including bones, axes, swords, spears, jewelry, and chicken bones.
Some skeletons were also found with rings around their necks, while others had buckets on their feet. This site is believed to be a mass pagan grave.
In particular, the female skeletons were found with rings around their necks and wrists, which researchers say may have served as a means to distinguish gender.

Archaeologists revealed to the website Science Live that the excavation of the cemetery took place over a period spanning from 2017 to 2022.
