Galatasaray targets Steaua Bucharest’s Tarnovanu as Muslera’s replacement

With Fernando Muslera expected to depart Galatasaray at the end of the season, the club has turned its attention to finding a suitable replacement.

According to Romanian media outlets, the Turkish giants have identified Stefan Tarnovanu, the goalkeeper of Steaua Bucharest, as a potential target.

A Galatasaray representative is reportedly set to observe Tarnovanu during the upcoming match between Steaua Bucharest and Olympique Lyon, as the club continues its evaluation process.

Transfer fee set at 10M euros

The report further reveals that Steaua Bucharest’s president, Gigi Becali, is requesting a minimum of 10 million euros for the 24-year-old goalkeeper.

Tarnovanu has impressed this season, keeping 19 clean sheets in 47 official appearances, underlining his potential as a strong addition to Galatasaray’s squad.
