Tom Holland’s ‘Avengers’ bonus mistakenly sent to Tom Hollander, star of “The White Lotus”

British actor Tom Holland, best known for his role in “Spider-Man”, had his bonus check sent to Tom Hollander, star of “The White Lotus”, who has a similar first and last name.

The situation came to light when Tom Hollander told the “Late Night” host that he had received a bonus check to be sent to Tom Holland.

Speaking to the “Late Night” host Seth Meyers, Hollander added the following: “We worked with the same agents for a little while and probably confused people in the accounting department.”

“Obviously, I’m not actually confused with him, but I’m always confused with him in non-visual contexts,” Hollander said, explaining that while looking through his emails, he saw a pay stub that said “box office bonus for the Avengers” on one of them.
