In 2024, Türkiye became the third-largest TV series exporter globally, with Turkish TV series gaining massive popularity from the Middle East to Europe and Latin America.

According to Parrot Analytics, global demand for Turkish TV series surged by 184% between 2020 and 2023, far surpassing the 73% growth seen for Korean dramas.

In 2023, Turkish TV series topped the charts in Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. In fact, the three most popular shows in Spain during the first half of 2023 were Turkish dramas, often dubbed in Spanish for Latin American audiences.

While most viewers in Latin America watch Turkish series with Spanish dubbing, audiences in regions like Poland and Greece often prefer subtitles, leading to an increasing interest in learning Turkish.
