Ethem Ay, a 29-year-old individual with Down syndrome from Tokat, has been appointed as an honorary private secretary to Tokat Mayor Mehmet Kemal Yazicioglu.

His first day on the job was marked by his warm and professional approach, impressing everyone around him.

A few weeks ago, Ay visited Mayor Yazicioglu at his office with his family, where they had a heartfelt conversation. Following their meeting, Mayor Yazicioglu decided to appoint Ay to the position of symbolic private secretary.

Ay is now responsible for assisting with organizing the mayor’s schedule, welcoming guests with a cheerful smile, and ensuring smooth communication within the office.
