Israeli warplanes have launched airstrikes on Syria’s capital, Damascus, and the Daraa province. The attacks have led to significant fires in the targeted areas.

Israeli airstrikes on Damascus, Daraa

According to reports, Israeli fighter jets carried out at least four strikes on key locations in Syria, specifically targeting the Kisva region in Damascus and the Izra area in Daraa province.

In Kisva, a weapons depot was hit, causing a large fire in the area. The explosion and subsequent fires have raised concerns about the extent of the damage.

These airstrikes are part of Israel’s ongoing strategy of targeting military assets in Syria, particularly those linked to Iranian forces and allied groups, amid tensions in the region.

The exact details of the strikes and the damage caused are still being assessed, but the attack on the weapons depot has resulted in visible fires that continue to burn in the area.
