Turkish club Galatasaray officially announced the signing of defender Serge Aurier from Nottingham Forest

Ivory Coast captain Serge Aurier has completed a move from Premier League’s Nottingham Forest to Turkish Super Lig champion’s Galatasaray, as confirmed by both clubs on Friday.

Galatasaray revealed that Aurier has signed with them until the end of the season. A transfer fee of 100,000 euros ($107,850.00) will be paid to Nottingham Forest as part of the agreement.

The 31-year-old defender, currently participating in the Africa Cup of Nations, joined Forest in September 2022 and made 41 appearances in all competitions with the English club. In the ongoing season, Aurier was featured 13 times for Forest.

The arrival of Ivory Coast International is expected to bolster Galatasaray’s defensive options as they pursue success in domestic and international competitions.
