17 irregular migrants detained in Türkiye’s Kirklareli

Seventeen irregular migrants who entered Türkiye illegally were detained by security forces in Kirklareli.
The Provincial Gendarmerie Command and Provincial Police Department continue their inspections and controls as part of the ongoing efforts to combat irregular migration.
During operations conducted near the city center and the Derekoy Border Gate, which provides access to Bulgaria, 17 foreign nationals were apprehended.
After their processing, the detained migrants were transferred to the Pehlivankoy Removal Center.
