On Friday’s close, the BIST 100 index rose by 0.23% to the historically high closing level of 8,665.68 points with a daily transaction volume of 117 billion Turkish liras ($3.84 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira (USD/TRY) exchange rate was 30.5515 as of 10.10 a.m. local time (GMT0710), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 32.9520, while the GBP/TRY rate was 38.5340.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,045.80, and the barrel price of Brent oil was around $77.60.
