A delegation from the Kurdish-oriented People’s Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) is scheduled to travel to Erbil this upcoming weekend, on Feb. 16.

During their visit, the delegation will meet with high-ranking officials from the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) of Iraq, including Mesud Barzani, Nechirvan Barzani, Bafel Talabani, and other key figures.

According to the statement made by the DEM Party, the delegation will consist of Pervin Buldan and Sirri Sureyya Onder, along with Keskin Bayindir, co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), members of the Foreign Relations Commission, and other party officials.

The delegation is expected to meet with Mesud Barzani and Nechirvan Barzani in Erbil on Feb. 16. On the following day, Feb. 17, the delegation will travel to Sulaymaniyah, where they will hold talks with Bafil Talabani, Kubat Talabani, and officials from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK).

During these visits, it is anticipated that the details of the discussions held on Imranli Island will be shared. The delegation will seek the views, suggestions, and opinions of the officials involved in the process, which will later be conveyed to Abdullah Ocalan, the imprisoned founder and leader of the PKK terrorist group.
