Aselsan, one of Türkiye‘s leading defense companies, announced Wednesday the opening of a new office in Muscat, Oman, as part of its strategy to strengthen its foothold in the Middle East and Gulf region.

The Muscat office joins Aselsan‘s existing network of offices and subsidiaries in Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, according to a statement released by the company.

Aselsan said the new office will enhance its global presence, focusing on producing top-tier defense products, developing cutting-edge technologies, and expanding exports.

“The establishment of our office in Oman will create new opportunities for knowledge transfer and capacity-building between the two countries,” the company said.

Ahmet Akyol, CEO and president of Aselsan, emphasized the significance of the expansion: “This move underscores our commitment to providing advanced defense solutions and building partnerships in the Gulf region. Our Muscat office will prioritize marketing and trade.”

“We are excited to contribute to the security and technological progress of Oman and neighboring countries through Aselsan’s technologies, customer satisfaction, and after-sales support,” Akyol added.
