Türkiye condemns terror attack in Pakistan, offers support
Türkiye condemned a terror attack in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on Saturday that left at least 18 soldiers dead. In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed its condolences: “We wish Allah’s mercy upon the martyred Pakistani soldiers and extend our condolences to the people of Pakistan.”
Türkiye reiterated its unwavering support for Pakistan’s ongoing fight against terrorism.
The Pakistani military reported that 18 soldiers were killed in clashes in the southwestern region, with 23 terrorists killed in operations in Balochistan since Friday.
President Erdogan reaffirms Türkiye’s commitment
During a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Developing-8 (D-8) summit in Cairo, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to standing with Pakistan against terrorist actions that threaten regional peace and security.
