Hamas controls Gaza, Israel has no influence: Israeli analyst
Israeli military analyst Yossi Yehoshua stated that the Gaza Strip is entirely under Hamas‘s control and that Israel has no influence over the region.
Details
- Yehoshua told i24 News, “Hamas effectively controls the entire Gaza Strip. Israel has no influence over Gaza.”
- Yehoshua also pointed out that Hamas decides on the delivery of prisoners in Gaza, saying, “Hamas is the one deciding whether Israel has committed violations.”
- He mentioned that the possibility of Palestinians voluntarily being displaced from the Gaza Strip is unlikely.
On Jan. 26, U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that Palestinians in Gaza be relocated to Arab countries.
Trump called for these countries to accept more Palestinians and to build new housing for them, whether temporarily or long-term.
