Borled, a subsidiary of the Turkish Borsan Group operating in the lighting sector, signed a partnership agreement with China-based Lixin Lighting on Monday.

The signing ceremony was held at the Borled Aydinlatma factory in Samsun, with representatives from both Lixin Lighting, a long-standing producer in China’s lighting industry, and Borsan Group in attendance.

‘Well-known products with conventional designs at a lower cost’

Adnan Olmez, Chairman of the Board at Borsan Group, emphasized during the event that their vision for sustainable growth in both domestic and international lighting markets will gain new momentum through this partnership with Lixin Lighting.

“We are preparing to take Borled Aydinlatma’s contributions to the Turkish economy to a new level,” Olmez said. “Over the next three years, we plan to invest $25 million, focusing on technology transfer, R&D, and capacity expansion. With these new investments, we aim to triple our performance and reach $35 million in revenue within three years.”

Jian Liu, Chairman of the Board at Lixin Lighting Ltd., highlighted the company’s 20 years of experience in the LED lighting and electronics sector in China.

“We export our products to the Middle East and African markets,” Liu noted. “Our key advantage lies in our ability to produce well-known products with conventional designs at reduced costs, without compromising quality.”

Borled Lighting started its operations in LED lighting product manufacturing in Samsun, in 2017, as a part of the Turkish Borsan Group.
