As the presidential inauguration ceremony for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump approaches, the salary he will receive during his term has become a topic of curiosity.
According to politicalsalaries.com, Donald Trump will be the world’s third highest-paid president, earning $400,000 annually. Notably, Trump will receive the same amount as his predecessor, President Joe Biden, as the presidential salary has remained unchanged for nearly 20 years.
This places Trump behind leaders such as Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who reportedly earns the highest salary among world leaders, but ahead of Germany’s Olaf Scholz.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s salary for 2025 has been increased by 30% recently, according to the budget proposal submitted to the Turkish Parliament.
The adjustment raised his monthly salary from ₺183,000 to ₺238,000, bringing his total annual salary to ₺2.856 million ($80,261).
