The 74th Berlin Film Festival kicked off with the screening of the drama film “Small Things Like These” starring Cillian Murphy
The 74th Berlin Film Festival, whose jury members include director Brady Corbet, Hong Kong filmmaker Ann Hui, Christian Petzold, Spanish director Albert Serra, Italian actress Jasmine Trinca and Ukrainian writer Oksana Zabuzhko, kicked off with the screening of the drama film “Small Things Like These” starring Cillian Murphy.
At the festival, Turkish cinema will be showcased at the Turkish stand, organized by the Bosphorus Culture and Arts Foundation with support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The stand will feature feature-length films, short films, animations, and documentaries that have been completed or are in the project or development stage.
The festival’s program, which will run for 10 days between Feb. 15 and Feb. 25 in Berlin, Germany, was unveiled.
Twenty films from 30 countries will vie for the Golden Bear award at the festival. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Feb. 20.
