China’s new Ambassador to Türkiye, Jiang Xuebin, assumes office

Jiang Xuebin, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Türkiye, has officially begun his tenure, marking the start of his diplomatic mission to strengthen ties between China and Türkiye.

In a post shared on X, Ambassador Xuebin expressed his enthusiasm for the role. “Hello, Türkiye! I am deeply honored to be appointed as Chinese Ambassador to Türkiye,” he wrote.

Highlighting the spirit of collaboration, Xuebin referred to proverbs from both nations. “As an old Turkish saying goes, ‘A candle never loses any of its light while lighting up another candle.’ In China, we say, ‘The fire burns high if more people add wood to it.’”

He continued, “I look forward to having in-depth exchanges and cooperation with people from all sectors in Türkiye to strive for even greater achievements in the strategic cooperative relations between the two countries.”

Chinese news agency Xinhua shared the list of the new ambassadorial appointments from Chinese President. Apart from Xuebin, this is the list of China’s new ambassadors in their new posts.

• Deng Li has been appointed ambassador to France and Monaco, replacing Lu Shaye.

• Xiao Junzheng has been appointed ambassador to Israel, replacing Cai Run.

• Zhang Wei has been appointed ambassador to Benin, replacing Peng Jingtao.

• Dai Bing has been appointed ambassador to the Republic of Korea, replacing Xing Haiming.

• Lyu Jian has been appointed ambassador to Oman, replacing Li Lingbing.

• Dong Guangli has been appointed ambassador to Algeria, replacing Li Jian.

• Tang Zhongdong has been appointed ambassador to Mauritania, replacing Li Baijun.

• Guo Haiyan has been appointed ambassador to Kenya, replacing Zhou Pingjian.

• Han Chunlin has been appointed ambassador to Kazakhstan, replacing Zhang Xiao.

• Liu Jiangping has been appointed ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, replacing Du Dewen.

• Li Fan has been appointed ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing Ji Ping.
