French forward Kylian Mbappe is poised to make a move to Real Madrid in July, according to reports

French forward Kylian Mbappe is set to make a high-profile move to Real Madrid on Monday, according to reports from the Spanish sports daily Marca.

The 25-year-old, a coveted target for the La Liga giants, is expected to join Real Madrid in July on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). 

Mbappe had already communicated to PSG last year that he would not extend his contract with them beyond the current season.

The reports suggest that Mbappe met with PSG President Nasser al-Khelaifi last week, conveying his decision in what was described as a “cordial atmosphere.” 

The French forward, who joined PSG from Monaco in 2017, reportedly requested PSG not to make any further contract offers, signaling his commitment to moving to Real Madrid. 

Marca claims that the agreement between Mbappe and Real Madrid has been in place for the past two weeks.
